Our Approach
Our goal is to be
the most reliable
name on your list.
Not the biggest. Not the cheapest. The most consistently dependable team you’ll work with — hand-picked, self-sufficient, and built around long-term client relationships.
A select client
base, by design.
We deliberately work with a small number of established companies — Tier 1 contractors, ICPs, IDNOs, and DNO clients — rather than chasing volume.
This isn’t a constraint. It’s the model. Working with fewer clients means we’re available when you need us, our teams know your standards, and reliability isn’t an aspiration — it’s the baseline.
Own fleet.
Own equipment.
Own teams.
When Lyne Ltd became a limited company in 2024, we made a deliberate decision: invest in being fully self-sufficient from day one.
That means our own diggers, vans, plant, and specialist tools. No reliance on hire schedules, no shared kit, no compromises on what we can mobilise. When we commit to a programme, we have everything we need to deliver it.
The teams you'd
want on site.
Civils and jointing aren’t generic trades — the difference between a competent team and an exceptional one shows up on every job.
We only take on the most experienced and knowledgeable civils teams and jointers we can find. We’d rather grow slowly with the right people than scale fast with the wrong ones.
Full project delivery,
partial scope, or
anywhere in between.
We work the way clients want to work. Some need a full turn-key service — a single point of contact handling civils, cable, jointing, reinstatement, and commissioning. Others have specific scopes they need filling.
We handle both, and we don’t push clients toward whichever option suits us. We deliver what suits the project.
Working to the
standards that matter.
We currently operate under NERS Passport via our main contractor, with full NERS accreditation as a long-term goal.
Our ambition is to tender for our own projects under our own accreditation — but we won’t move there until we’re fully ready to deliver to that standard independently. In the meantime, every job is delivered to the specification a Tier 1 contractor would expect from their own teams.
