We’re deliberately not a big operation, and that changes everything about working here — who you answer to, the kit you’re given, and whether your standards are noticed.
Why Us
Most utility subcontractors run on volume. Crews are interchangeable, the kit is whatever came back from the last job, and good work disappears into the size of the operation.
We’ve built the opposite. Lyne is run by a director who’s been on the tools since 2007 — so the person setting the standard knows exactly what the job takes, and notices when it’s done well.
That means proper equipment, teams that stay together, and work that’s recognised. We’d rather grow slowly with the right people than churn through crews to hit a headcount.
If you’re good at this, you won’t be a number here. You’ll be one of a small group whose name is on the standard we’re known for.
